the way I started

Traveling is my passion, a way of living, the way I started, since bluenight is a poet, painter, traveller, and life lover. By diving into other worlds, smelling scents, colours of lights in different moments of the day, up to becoming something really special, I started my way: the painting.
This kind of painting is called the painting of the quantum.

the way I started to paint

I use acrylic colours on rough canvas; the relevant colours are five: ultramarine blue, vermilion red, lemon yellow, up to white and black; so that tints are born straight on the canvas. At the beginning, I used to paint with brushes, but subsequently, facing a larger space, they were not able to give a better resolution as a painting technique, the way I wanted. So I thought about how to make it.

I switched my way of working by means of paint rollers, for the reason that the backgrounds on canvas are bigger, and the play with colours is much more effective.

The Way to a New Different Road

Thus, in time I started to refine my technique, evolving into a style both pictorial and of life-thought, the fact that, as Nietzsche said,

I started with the representation of objects, then of human figures; then, in time, this diminished, in order to undertake a new and different road, it being the most interesting one, that is, the soul.

Simply the colour, the canvas, the feeling of the painter as well as the passion is a continuous imagining as well as feeling, the sounds of the world, a perennial strife about the answers and the questions, all of this will never run out…
